The research follows the creation, and first couple of years, of a jointly owned HR dedicated service provision company. This new company was formed by the outsourced HR department of a major manufacturing company being TUPE’d into a venture capital funded start-up companyA two-phase Repertory Grid study investigated employees’ individual perception of the new organisation and their anticipation of the future. Phase 1 occurred within three months of the launch date of the new company and phase 2 one year after the launch. Those areas focused on included, the new organisation, those HR people left in the parent company as well as the self, ideal self and ideal HR.The results indicated that, whilst individuals had subtly different construct maps, they did share some common constructs and themes. These were around the goals, aims, vision and roles/responsibilities within the new organisation. - These are some of the tools and techniques I’ve found really useful over the years in my coaching and personal/organisational development practice. This booklet is a result of both my private practice and some workshops I have delivered for various organisations on coaching and/or change management. As a result, it is more of a practitioner’s handbook rather than a theoretical textbook.
